Dollie custom orders and more

I think I have said this before. When I have to make 1 doll I have to make more then 1. That goes for the owls too. I just can't help it. I thought I would share the process:)10 little dollies all cut out and ready for the pieces to be sewn together.I have been sewing stitches around some of the dollies hair to add some more cuteness. All little pieces sewn together. Now I draw the faces on.All faces are now ready to be painted:)I love what they look like at this stage. At this point I get inpatient and only sew a few of them together. My favorite part is turning them inside out and seeing how they turned out. You can see on the edge of the table how I started some owls because I was getting inpatient. These little ones are the gals that will go in the shop. I tried something new this time and gave them little ruffle skirts. I LOVE how they turned out. It was a little tricky, but I think I got it.This is Mindy! I gave her 3 sets of ruffles. A closer look. She has 2 ruffles.
I have yet to fill the 3 dollie. So what do you think, do you like the ruffles?

While I am busy sewing and stuffing I came up with a new thing for Jonathan to do:)
