I think I have said this before. When I have to make 1 doll I have to make more then 1. That goes for the owls too. I just can't help it. I thought I would share the process:)
10 little dollies all cut out and ready for the pieces to be sewn together.
I have been sewing stitches around some of the dollies hair to add some more cuteness.
All little pieces sewn together. Now I draw the faces on.
All faces are now ready to be painted:)
I love what they look like at this stage.
At this point I get inpatient and only sew a few of them together. My favorite part is turning them inside out and seeing how they turned out. You can see on the edge of the table how I started some owls because I was getting inpatient.
These little ones are the gals that will go in the shop. I tried something new this time and gave them little ruffle skirts. I LOVE how they turned out. It was a little tricky, but I think I got it.
This is Mindy! I gave her 3 sets of ruffles.
A closer look.
She has 2 ruffles.
I have yet to fill the 3 dollie. So what do you think, do you like the ruffles?
While I am busy sewing and stuffing I came up with a new thing for Jonathan to do:)
BUTTONS!!!!
